great buy This was a great buy. We took it to France with us and it never sent us the wrong way once. We could not have managed without it as we were in very rural France and the road maps are very confusing. Large screen made life very easy too.
TOMTOM XXL Looks great, intuitive and a definite step up from my old Garmin. Difficult to compare as my old GPS system was over 5 years old, technology has clearly moved on greatly, but I do find this one:- Very fast to load up and find satellites- Clear instructions- Manages to suprise me with short cuts/ new routes that save time/ avoid traffic- Wide screen
Even I can use it! I have a love/hate relationship with satnavs…I hated our old TomTom so much I would have loved to throw it out the window, however this version is just great! The screen is bigger, clearer and with much more information, and I like the way it actually shows you which lane you need to be in; in fact, it’s so good even I can get from West Sussex to Manchester without the usual nervous breakdown along the way.Easy to set up and easy to use……that’s it, I’m like Toad of Toad Hall…
